The Boy Genius Report has a post up providing a set of (sorta hazy) details on a rumored new iPhone model “ that apparently come from someone ‘pretty high up in At&T ‘s food chain ‘. As far as I know, BGR has a pretty good track record in terms of quality of sources and rumors.
Here are some of the details they ‘ve got:
- New iPhone announcement around mid-June
- New iPhone will be faster and have a ‘more seamless experience ‘
- Seems like the higher speed HSDPA (7.2Mbps) is being hinted at too which should confirm the earlier rumors of the new Infineon chipset.
The first two are not so fresh “ especially since Apple has pretty much confirmed June as the iPhone ‘refresh cycle ‘ period “ but the third point is a good one to hear.
