I have a PC at work, a Mac at home, and my iPhone, and everything stays in synch. I even use Dial2Do on the web, a free service which provides a personalized phone number — I dial the number, say “Evernote” and just speak my note — great for when I'm in my car (and also impresses your friends 😉

@ christyxcore – I use the web clipping feature probably more than any other as well. Also like using Evernote for quickly recording steps in a jailbreak and similar.
@ mas90guru – Really good point on templates. I'd never thought of that before (duh) and will now lament their absence every day.
@ Rags – good thought on how copy & paste will suddenly make a lot of Evernote uses much easier …

Maybe then I could create notes in one program and just paste them right into Evernote when I finish — that way I could just skip the sub-par editing capabilities and get right to the awesome ass syncing 😀

Examples:

I type all my quotes into Evernote – then copy them to email and send. That way I have one place to refer back when the client calls in 6 months “ready to go”

My time sheet is in Evernote — so each week I print it out and it gets entered to our billing system. Seems kludgy — but the billing systems I looked at were so universally awful that I gave up my hunt. The funny thing is that all the billing systems copied their awful procedures — so while they have a different overall look – down deep they all work the same way — inconveniently.

If there's one thing that I wish Evernote had it's templates — I'd like to be able to create boilerplates and easily call them up into new documents.Right now I use blank documents and the old copy/paste.

Don't use Evernote as much on iPhone as web/Mac

I just use the iphone app for viewing notes if I need to. I also use an app called Notebook (from Appigo) that's quick and making new text notes is easy, and it syncs with toodledo, and can integrate with the ToDo iPhone app. I use both though. Notebook more for text and quick notes, and Evernote for web clippings and more feature-rich notes.

Been using Evernote for about a year now, love the syncing everywhere. Can't be that.

I just started using the voice notes on the phone – very handy. I used to use Jott but gave it up once they changed their biz model.

I really like Evernote primarily because of the super easy synching on multiple devices.

I always have Evernote around and use it a lot – but more on the desktop for inputting / creating notes. On the iPhone I mostly use it to lookup and read notes, as I just don't love its input interface. So I use it alongside others – Iconic Notes (sync works sweet for me), Notes Pro when it is working, and a great voice notes app I'll write up soon …
