iShoot “ the hugely popular tank shooting game for the iPhone “ has been updated this week, to Version 2.0 “ and this looks like a major update.  Here ‘s just a few of the major additions:

• Play against friends “ up to four iPhone / iPod Touches on the same WiFi network can now play together
• Music “ iShoot now features professionally composed background music
• Rule Editor “ edit the game ‘s rules, such as how much health the tanks have
• Weapon Editor “ part of the Rule Editor, the Weapon Editor allows you to create, edit, and delete weapons

The update also includes ‘lots of minor changes and fixes ‘.

You can find the updated 2.0 version of iShoot in the App Store now, for $2.99.  There ‘s also a Lite (free) version of iShoot that lets you get to know the game (with fewer tanks and some other limitations) before forking out for the full version.
