Just got an email encouraging me to buy tickets for Apple ‘s Worldwide Developer ‘s Conference (WWDC) 2009.  I ‘m not quite sure why I got it (I guess because I once applied for the devs program) “ but I am glad to see it because it provides the dates for this year ‘s WWDC “ which are:

June 8 “ 12

So presumably we can look forward to seeing a WWDC keynote “ and hearing about a new iPhone model (hopefully) or two, when the iPhone OS 3.0 will launch (maybe that week?) and whatever other goodies Apple has in store.

This also gives us a date to work backwards from for all our rumors and speculation on what will be announced and launched at the event, and we can start revving up those little Countdown clocks counting down the days / minutes etc until keynote time.  Hurrah.
