Here ‘s an interesting new iPhone app. I don ‘t think I ‘ve seen an iPhone app focused on teaching you how to create an iPhone app before “ though there are plenty of good printed and online resources around.
How To Make Your First iPhone App looks like it is aimed at ‘newbie ‘ iPhone devs (or at least those who are new to development for this platform). Here ‘s a slice of its App Store description:
Ever wanted to learn how to make your first iPhone or iPod Touch app but didn’t know how or where to start? Now, in your spare time, you can browse through 70 pages of helpful step by step instructions for programming your first iPhone or iPod Touch application. Learn by watching and following the instructions to make your first app which integrates a button and a text label, often a great starting point for making more complicated apps by simply starting with the basics.
I ‘ve never heard of the developer who created this app “ Adan Vielma “ but then again that is the case with most new apps. He does have over 40 apps that have made it into the App Store though, as you can see on this Apptism page.
Having 40 apps in the store does not necessarily do anything in terms of vouching for quality / programming skills, but it shows a level of experience in this area at the very least.
I ‘m keen to hear Brandon ‘s (and other devs ‘) views on the usefulness of this guide.
You can find How To Make Your First iPhone App in the App Store now, for $0.99
