Tap Tap Revenge: Coldplay Edition is the latest and greatest release in the wildly popular Tap Tap Revenge series, this time featuring ten of the greatest hits from international best-selling recording artists Coldplay. This special edition of Tap Tap Revenge features: – Ten smash hits from seven-time Grammy winners Coldplay, including Yellow, Clocks, Speed of Sound, and special mixes of Vida la Vida and Lovers in Japan; – Breath-taking new themes, graphics and effects, inspired by Coldplay’s videos.
Tap Tap Revenge is branching out “ with a new special edition of the app featuring only Coldplay tracks. The app is called Tap Tap Coldplay, or Tap Tap Revenge: Coldplay Edition.
I ‘m not a huge Coldplay fan, so I ‘ll sit this one out “ but I wonder whether this is an early example of a typical in-game purchase type add-on. Tap Tap Revenge 2 itself is a free app, but this special Coldplay edition is $4.99. If this one succeeds, other special edition versions for other popular bands will surely follow and would fit the in-game purchase model very well.
Tap Tap Coldplay also features a Coldplay news feed and Facebook Connect, to share and compare scores with (potentially) millions of users.
