Hurrah! It took a bit, but it looks like Facebook Connect for comments is working now. This means that in addition to being able to login via Disqus “ which is in use by more and more sites round the web all the time “ you can now also login with your Facebook account details in order to comment anywhere on this site.
I ‘m very happy to see this feature working “ as I hope it makes it easier for lots of folks to login, and hopefully that translates to a few more of you joining in and commenting, talking more with us here when you like something, disagree with something, or for any old reason at all. 🙂
I ‘ve even successfully tested logging in on the iPhone with Facebook credentials, and though it opens a separate page for the FB login portion, it then auto-refreshes this site ‘s page and shows you as logged in.
