New iPhone Apps: Jeopardy

Jeopardy2

Here ‘s a very nice new addition to the App Store at the tail end of a holiday weekend “ TV ‘s ever-popular Jeopardy game!

Jeopardy is just about the only TV game show I can think of that ‘s not just bearable to watch, but is good fun to play along with “ so I ‘m well happy to see this one come to the App Store.

I ‘ve been trying this new app a little this evening, and it ‘s very good so far

The game ‘s features include:

  • Game play is just like you know it if you ‘ve seen the show (though there ‘s no audio / voiceover)
  • Clues are written by Jeopardy writers
  • You can set lots of characteristics for your avatar, that will show alongside the other two contestants
  • Includes real sounds from the game, including the ‘classic ‘ Final Jeopardy music
  • Includes over 1,500 clues

Jeopardy

If you ‘re even roughly familiar with how Jeopardy is played, you ‘ll need zero instruction to get started with this game “ just dive right in, create your avatar, and fire away.  The interface is easy to follow, fast to play, and seems pretty challenging so far as well.

I had high hopes for this game as soon as I saw it was available and so far, admittedly after just a short time with it, I ‘m not disappointed at all.  It ‘s good fun.  I have a feeling I ‘ll play this one a lot, so I hope they ‘ll update it with more clues and content regularly.

You can find Jeopardy in the App Store now, at a price of $4.99.
