Pocket Informant “ the feature-rich calendar and tasks app for the iPhone “ has just had its first update, not long after launching.

According to our friend Dan at WhatsOniPhone, the update includes:

-Improved sync (Performance of sync and Shared Google Calendar support)
It is noticeably faster with the beta of 1.01!! – The ability to choose which calendars to sync
- Support for M-Su month view formatting
- Startup and Calendar Performance Improvements

Pocket Informant is a very strong contender if you ‘re after a tasks management or calendar app, or especially if you need an app that does both for you.  I reviewed it in depth just a short while ago “ you can check out that review HERE.
