I like the ‘There ‘s An App for That ‘ series of iPhone ads. I think they ‘re very well executed and their focus on what is probably the iPhone ‘s greatest strength is spot on. Although they ‘ve chosen some very cool apps to feature in the ads, I still find myself thinking about other apps I ‘d love to see highlighted in one of the spots sometime.
I guess the category of ads I ‘m thinking of are more along the lines of a ‘WTF “ There ‘s An App for THAT? ‘ sort of theme. The sort of apps that we all know are littering the App Store, but never get their moment in the sun in an iPhone TV ad.
So I thought it might be fun to start up a little suggestions list for the advertising folks at Apple, just in case they run short on ideas for apps to feature sometime soon.
Today I ‘d like to offer a two-fer that I ‘d love to see get a ‘There ‘s An App for That ‘ appearance “ a pair of apps that feature the well-known (cough) and quotable wit of Ashlee and Jessica Simpson, contained within the Ashlee Simpson Quotes and Jessica Simpson Quotes apps.
Forget Mark Twain, Oscar Wilde, and all the other past pretenders “ if you feel the need for sparkling wit and quotes covering important subjects like ensuring butt cheeks don ‘t hang out, There Is An App for THAT. Hurrah.
