RunKeeper Dev To Run Boston Marathon In iPhone Suit

Here ‘s a great promo idea from a group of iPhone developers.  Jason Jacobs “ one of the developers of the RunKeeper iPhone app “ is going to attempt to run the Boston Marathon tomorrow wearing an iPhone costume that shows off RunKeeper on its ‘screen ‘.

The idea came from a group of social media students at Emerson College, who were asked by the staff at FitnessKeeper (makers of RunKeeper) to come up with a marketing strategy to give the program an extra push in the App Store. 

I think it ‘s a great idea “ and hope Jason does well in the marathon and that the app gets a big bump in the store
