Faces brings face detection and recognition to the iPhone. Simply take a photo, and Faces will detect and attempt to recognize people in the photo.
Faces learns every time you name people in a photo, improving recognition accuracy the more you use it.
Faces integrates into Facebook, searching your friends as you tag photos. You can also upload photos right from Faces to Facebook.
Faces sounds very good “ it would be great to see face recognition on the iPhone. Apparently it has already been in the Approvals queue for two weeks now and is getting some extra scrutiny. One of Layton ‘s recent tweets mentions receiving a second email letting them know that ‘Your application is requiring unexpected additional time for review. ‘.
