I did a short post a couple days ago on the plans for one of the developers of the RunKeeper app “ Jason Jacobs – to run the Boston Marathon in an iPhone suit that of course featured RunKeeper on the iPhone screen.

This morning I got a chance to check up on how the race went for Jason.  It went great.  He not only finished the run, but finished in a very impressive time of 3:55:07.  I think anything under four hours is considered more than respectable.

Congratulations to Jason for the superb effort, and to all the folks at RunKeeper, and the students who came up with this great promotional idea.
