Hey guys and gals – I’ve been absolutely buried in stuff do to this week, what with spring being here, and sprinklers to turn on, burst sprinkler lines in the yard, sump pump drainage installation… you know the fun stuff, so believe me when I say I meant to post this a couple days ago. But anyway.. better late than never.

I’ve had Magnificent Gizmos and Gadgets on my iPhone for a few days now, and while I’ve only had a chance to play it a couple times due to recent unforeseen events – it looks pretty darn good! Its a bit hard to explain in words, and I know there’s a game like this that I’ve played before… but for the life of me I can’t recall what it is. Here’s a video of what the MG & G gameplay looks like. There’s a full press release after the break, and keep an eye out for a review coming up as soon as life stops getting in my way!

Sorry its in another language… best video I could find that showed the game really well.

It seems similar to “World of Goo” but not as intuitive. Watching the video, I would not have expected that the “machine” that was built would have “driven” to the left rather than just sat there and could be tumbled by tilting the device. Are all the circular parts actually wheels? And does it only “drive” in the direction that it should to complete the level?

Its actually quite interesting to see the things it does. I tend to expect one thing, and find it doing something completely different. I haven't spent much time with it though… so that may just be beginner stuff.

The “wheels” – yes. There are three of them, One is green (goes right), one is red (goes left), the last is grey and I think its just there piss off the other two

      :)
