Assassin ‘s Creed – Altair ‘s Chronicles has made it to the App Store. This one is in a games genre I just don ‘t play or follow closely, but I have to admit it looks very slick and entertaining, and my impression is it ‘s another blue-chip title for the App Store as well.
And it ‘s already getting some warm reviews. IGN.com says:
This game looks better on the iDevices that it did on the Nintendo DS. The models are crisper. The textures are brighter and cleaner. The animation seems smoother, too, such as when Altair transitions from creeping along in stealth mode to slashing apart a guard with his sword. The cutscenes are fluid and detailed. Gameloft also added a lot of voice to the game, too, adding an extra element of character to Altair.
I feel a little tempted to step outside my usual games box and give this one a look. Will think on that a bit.
If you ‘re after Assassin ‘s Creed – Altair ‘s Chronicles, it ‘s available now and is priced at $9.99.
