Just read a great, funny post at the Woot blog on what those one billion downloaded App Store apps would be like in ‘the tradition of that old Village of 100 scenario ‘.  Thanks to Karthik of ShankRila.com and Top iPhone Resource, for sharing it!

Just a few of the great numbers:

* 81 would have some sort of ‘fart’ feature.
* 12 would be in submission limbo, and 7 would’ve been rejected for violating an unstated and undefined rule.
* 39 would be "Lite" versions of apps nobody ever buys, and 19 would be identical to their web page version.
* 23 would be Atari 2600 games, and 7 would be officially licensed, excessively branded bloatware games that only exist to legally shut down the better indie version.
* 36 would have angry reviews from users who totally misunderstood the app, and 13 would have one-star reviews that go on to say "This thing is awesome!!!".
* 8 would be unofficial Woot trackers.
* 100 would be impossible to explain to a caveman.

Check out the full list HERE “ it ‘s very good
