Site Stuff – Making Some Changes

Just a quick heads-up post “ I ‘m going to be experimenting with a theme change for the site, a change to the look and feel of JAiB. It ‘s been nearly two years that this theme has been in place and I feel like it ‘s served very well, but that the place could do with a bit of a refresh.
It ‘s a long weekend here in the US and my wife and daughter are away at my in-laws, so this is a good time block for me to have a go at this. I ‘ll be starting on it very soon, and you will likely see lots of things that don ‘t look right or work right during the course of the next few days. I ‘ll do my best to keep those to a minimum and resolve things as quickly as I can.
One thing I know right away that will take a bit longer to work out is an adaptation of the site logo / banner for our new theme “ so at the outset the masthead will be fairly plain and basic, but we ‘ll be working on it.
Thanks in advance for your patience and understanding while we make some changes. Please let me know in the comments about any problems you spot, or just share your opinion on how things are looking.
could we put my name at the top of the site as the banner? Thanks.

Honestly, if I had the money I would just have someone custom make one for me. I hate working on my own stuff

Tried just now, but site's unreachable in FF and Safari. Besides, I'm pretty sure I'll either stick with this one, with some further adjustments, or revert back to what I had before …
