Yay! – Now There’s a Site for All Our ‘There’s An App for That’ Jokes
This is a great idea. There ‘s a new web site up that has as its single purpose the creation, rating, and sharing of ‘there ‘s an app for that ‘ one-liners.
I think tons of us by now enjoy using that phrase to mock the App Store ‘s bizarre approvals process and laugh at some of the crazy stuff that makes it in “ and now there ‘s an easy place to do so. App for That is the site ‘s name, and it ‘s fun and simple to use. I added my entry (shown above) in just a few seconds after hitting the site.
The site shows off all the latest entries in the iPhone SMS chat bubble style, and the whole site is made to look like an iPhone app “ which begs the question when will we see the actual iPhone app for this. Soon I hope.
You can rate others ‘ comments up or down, and share them easily via email, Twitter, Facebook etc. with just a couple clicks.
My first entry, just in case you ‘re curious, was prompted by seeing this lovely new app this morning:
Yup, Mark Sanchez “ the NY Jets number 1 pick and completely untested quarterback who has not yet thrown an NFL pass, has an iPhone app dedicated to him. Between that and those ‘Baywatch ‘ style pics of him recently, I bet his teamates are giving him a real warm welcome.
