Site Stuff: Move Mostly Done Now
For those who didn ‘t catch it, I posted yesterday about this site moving across to a new “ and bigger, better, more taste, less calories “ hosting company; a new home for the site basically.
Well, that move is mostly done now “ all that remains are one ‘propagation ‘ process and one formal transfer process. Both are already in progress for some time (the propagation of DNS changes should be mostly or completely done by now) and should be fully done by the end of the weekend at the very latest.
I ‘m sure there will likely be some headaches and issues as a result of the move, ones I have not seen or heard about just yet “ but in the meantime, I ‘m quite pleased that thus far we ‘ve only had around 1.25 hours of downtime, at a very early stage of this morning (US time).

I had some expert assistance during part of this move “ from these guys – which was a huge, huge help. I also had the faithful and constant support of my large, goofy Labrador.
As you can see from the screencap top of the post, I do believe he thinks the worst is behind us, and it ‘s ‘go time ‘ for ball playing:)
