Where To Follow the WWDC 2009 Keynote on Monday– Some Good Live Blog Sites

 WWDCMakeMarkHere

The way-ay-ting is the hardest part, and it ‘s almost over now “ at least the waiting for announcements on new iPhone models and when OS 3.0 gets released and so forth, we hope and expect.  All should be revealed at the WWDC 2009 keynote “ which is this coming Monday at 10:00am US Pacific.

Like many of you, I ‘ll be following several good sites that will be live blogging the event, and probably hanging on the edge of my seat for much of it.

Here are a few of the places that should be offering great coverage on Monday:

Engadget: http://www.engadget.com/2009/06/08/phil-schiller-keynote-live-from-wwdc-2009/

Gizmodo: http://live.gizmodo.com/

MacRumors: http://www.macrumorslive.com/

And my current favorite place for live events coverage “ the gdgt live site.  This is my favorite because it ‘s done by Ryan Block (formerly of Engadget), who I think provides the fastest and by far the sharpest analysis of what gets presented, as well as great play-by-play:

We ‘ll also be providing our thoughts and reactions to Monday ‘s events here throughout the day.

What ‘s your favorite spot to follow these sort of Apple events at?  Will you be tuning in to any of the live blogs on Monday?

  • Bobby – I like Gizmodo a lot as well, read them daily – but have not followed as much of their live blogging efforts as I've just tended to enjoy Block's quick-fire analysis more. Thanks so much for the kind words about the site, and yes, I will do. 🙂

  • I used to only follow Gizmodo but found MacRumors to be better (until they got hacked last time). I honestly will always have all of them open in different tabs just so I don't miss anything! Can't wait to try out "gdgt's" live blog. I did a little blog post on this as well. http://bit.ly/qSicR

  • Mike – yup, I like having several tabs open as well – partly to cover if one or more have site issues, partly just for the variety and geek buzz of it. Like your post, and your blog title! 🙂
