More Lovely iPhone Rumors, 24 Hours Before WWDC 2009 Keynote

Only a little over 24 hours now until the WWDC 2009 keynote address kicks off “ and the rumors and predictions are flying thick and fast. I haven ‘t managed to keep up with all of them, but there are a handful that have caught my eye. Such as:
BGR is reporting on new pics claiming to show off a front-facing camera and video chat “ as seen in the pic above
Gear Live has the biggest, boldest prediction “ that not only will a new ‘iPhone Video ‘ get announced tomorrow, but it will be available to go out and grab as well:
What you don ‘t know, though, is that Apple will likely make the iPhone Video available the same day. Yes, you will be able to pick up the next version of the iPhone on Monday, if you get to an Apple Store before they sell out.
And Engadget Mobile covers reports in no less than The Financial Times saying Apple will launch a cheaper iPhone model tomorrow.
Phew “ so many rumors, so little time left before we see what ‘s really happening. There ‘s plenty more out there, these are just the ones that happened to grab my attention over the last few days. I sure would love to see a new iPhone available tomorrow “ so that one is my big favorite at the moment.

The more I think about it, I really don't think there will be video chatting.. Gizmodo already shot down one picture that claimed that.. Video is def coming, although i wish they would make it available in a software update.. Jailbroken apps allow video so why can't Apple? I'm jealous that the new phone will have video bc I'm refusing to buy it.. Faster processor, more ram, and video.. That's all I'm betting will come. I'm very surprised that a day away there's ZERO solid news tho, just strong suggestions.. I can't wait till the software is available, I'm MMSing all day tomorrow lol

I generally try to stay away from speculation and prediction before a release. Thing is, Apple's observers have gotten so good at predicting what's coming that there's no element of surprise and thus no real elation anymore.
That said, I think video is coming as well as cheaper prices and faster speeds. I don't think it'll be called iPhone video. We've had that already with the iPod video.
OK, I will go on record with my prediction:
3.0 released, new iPhone announced but NOT released (until July).
Alicia and Joe – I agree that Daring Fireball is usually pretty spot-on – which is good because it should mean significant leap on processor, hopefully doubled up RAM, video recording etc. – I think 3.0 gets released this week though maybe not today (and hopefuly with ugly memory issues squashed) and I still feel a little bit of hope that new model might be available this week as well, or within less than a month.
