iPhone OS 3.0 – Now with Less Ducking & More … Umm, Swearing

Here ‘s an iPhone OS 3.0 feature that I didn ‘t know about until yesterday. The latest OS is New & Improved in the area of non-prevention of swearing through its auto-correct functions.

The infamous replacement of fucking with ducking is no longer happening. A major step forward for being able to throw around a little profanity in my notes and emails “ though I promise I won ‘t make a habit of it here.

I believe this was due to the jailbreak. I noticed when cydia updated the first time it installed something called "new curses"

I could also be way wrong I didn't bother to look at what the package was I just saw it breeze by.

  Jim – I've seen this change on my brand new 3GS, which is not jialbroken of course – so I don't think this is anything to do with a Cydia app.
