TweetMic “ a nice little iPhone app that lets you quickly and easily create audio tweets and publish them to Twitter “ has just has an update released, which fixes some publishing errors caused by the recent ‘Twitpocalypse ‘ bug.

If you ‘d like a little more of an Intro to TweetMic, you can check out a post I did a few weeks back when I first discovered it “ HERE.

Here are some of the other changes in the new update of TweetMic:

  • Upload speed significantly optimized
  • Default tweet text can now be customized
  • Publish status indication is clearer
  • Stability enhanced
  • Various bug fixes
  • Now iPhone OS 3.0 compatible

My understanding is that this update has been in Apple ‘s reviews queue for quite a number of days, so it should good news for TweetMic users who ‘ve been waiting on it.

  1. I really like the concept of audio tweets. I have been using tweetmic for a few days and am looking for other audio tweeters to listen to and share with. I have been searching with disappointing results for tweetmic posts.

I like the concept a lot too, though I have to admit I have rarely been using it – I forget it's there a lot. Sad to say for TweetMic, but I have a feeling this will get a lot more use when it's built into some of the heavy hitter Twitter apps.

  3. I am new to twitter and, in general, not into social networking sites, but wuold love some guidance in how to search for / get the attention of other audio tweeter to look for common interests. Any Ideas welcome – either here or at twitter where I am also babylonlarry. TIA…
