Doom Resurrection for iPhone Is Out Now
The old- schoolest of all old school first person shooters has finally come to the iPhone! Doom Resurrection is in the App Store now.
I just installed it, ignored it’s advice to reboot to get the best experience, and killed my first couple zombies – yay me.

Keep in mind Patrick… I think this is one of two Doom games coming out. Original Doom I believe was also in the works.
I'll still end up buying this one I think. Is it good?
Good point – this is the sort of new extension of the series specially for iPhone I think. It does seem good so far. My judgement is probably far from the best as I suck at shooter games generally – but so far movement seems awkward, using weapons, aiming etc is fine – but haven't got comfortable enough with moving around anywhere near as fast as is needed – and have only found a few new weapons thus far, but have been playing sporadically while doing some other things as well.
