Tablet Rumours…again.

The Interent is abuzz with rumours of an Apple Tablet. Every RSS feed, blog, and online rumour-mill seems to be pointing to sometime between September and December as the aproximate date that Apple will release this elusive product; just in time to capture the end-of-the-year shopping season.

But these rumour-mills are getting thicker as more reliable sources step forward to announce their knowledge of an Apple Tablet-like product. Today, the mostly-reliable Financial Times printed an article that apparantley confirms the release of an oversized iPod touch for sometime in September. This timing works really well with speculation of a Fall release of a Tablet product.

The Financial Times article claims that this “new touch-sensitive device Apple is working on will have a screen that may be up to 10 inches diagonally.” It also sizes up Apple by saying that “Apple is gambling that it can succeed where everyone else has flopped, including Microsoft, which tirelessly pushed a tablet-ready version of its Windows operating system as a personal favourite of founder Bill Gates.”

Could this be the Tablet-like device that rumours claim will be released sometime this Fall, or is it just that, another rumour that fails to stand up.
