Thiphone thigh mount for the iPhone: as if Bluetooth headsets weren’t hard enough to pull off

I really like cases. I’m the kind of guy who thinks a lot about how to carry his gear around and I’ll even sacrifice some form for function. I’ve taken belt clips and tucked them into my pocket, I’ve worn gigantic holsters under an untucked t-shirt, and I even wore a fanny pack through high school. But this Thiphone, it’s too much, I tell you.

I can’t imagine needing to relax so badly that I couldn’t be bothered hold my iPhone or just keep it on my lap. I also can’t imagine tying the iPhone to my thigh for the sole purpose of using it while reclined on a couch somewhere. I’m having a hard enough time looking cool, and it seems like the Thiphone would make things worse for me. However, if you’re already cool enough that this leg mount won’t be a hindrance, you can buy one at Thiphone Store for $29.95. It looks like it will fit the other iPhone models, too.

Actually, this looks like it could be a great idea for a plane train or automobile where you are stuck sitting for multiple hours. I was glad to be able to watch a movie in my last plane trip using the iPod touch but holding it was a pain. I ended up propping it up with a extra shirt on ny thigh just like it is displayed in the picture.
