Latest iPhone TV Ad Features Sports Apps, Somehow Forgets Baseball Slugger
Apple ‘s latest TV ad for the iPhone is called ‘Avid ‘ and is aimed at avid sports fans. It shows off a few impressive iPhone sports apps, including the excellent MLB At Bat.
There ‘s one big miss in the ad though “ the app that should ‘ve been the
star of this show: Baseball Slugger. They could ‘ve shown the ‘Boom ‘ moment from the game, where your swing and timing are so sweet that you get a rapid-fire three replays of bat impacting ball. Or the flight of a long home run and the ball crashing into the scoreboard and knocking lights out.
I ‘m an avid sports fan “ the target audience for this one “ and I ‘m throwing the challenge flag on it. Do over. Somebody make a better one on YouTube, and get Baseball Slugger front and center in it, please. 
I have to agree, Slugger is the best game on the iPhone.
