All Those Reports of Huge iPhone Customer Satisfaction – Nonsense!

I could swear I ‘ve seen a number of big customer satisfaction surveys that show iPhone users being at the top of the charts as the most satisfied amongst smartphone users.  It seems evidence ‘on the street ‘ is proving them all wrong though. :)

But going into an Apple Store, asking for the phone to be fixed, then revealing a gun and threatening to shoot the device is probably not the best way to vent your frustration. One Donald Goodrich from Westwood learned that the hard way, as he was arrested and charged with aggravated menacing and causing fear of harm to an Apple employee.

Apparently, Donald brought his iPhone to the Apple store, told the Apple employee he was ‘So mad, I could pop a 9mm at it, ‘ and then actually revealed a real 9mm handgun. The Apple employee she ‘d get his phone fixed, and then told her manager who called the police. To his credit, Donald did have a concealed weapon permit, but, as he soon discovered, it doesn ‘t cover threatening to shoot gadgets at a store full of people.

I guess bullet holes are right up with there with water damage on the ‘no go ‘ list for Apple stores. :)

  1. WOW….See what Apple has done to all of us iPhone users. We will go to extreme lengths (even risking jail time) to just get our phone fixed. It is a serious situation and I feel bad for the Apple Store employees b/c nobody deserves to go through that…. But it really does take forever to get someone to help you in an Apple Store. I like the story, thanks Patrick.

  2. And another example of delusion…. lol. I guess even crazy people love their iPhones!! Why ANYONE would think that this behavior would not warrant some type of punishment is beyond me! Some people just are asking for it…
