Danger Zones Lite iPhone app

Danger Zones “ the iPhone app that pinpoints vehicle fatality locations across the USA, to help drivers become aware of the most treacherous roadways around them “ has now got a Lite (free) version available in the App Store.

Here are some details on the new Lite version:

Offered as an introductory version of the fully featured DangerZones, the app uses GPS location technology to show up to 15 fatal accident locations in your immediate vicinity.  Like the fully featured version, DangerZones Lite draws from a database of over 200,000 fatal accident locations throughout the United States and has full search capability.  The app also contains a number of interesting safety facts with graphics to help you better understand how speed, distractions, and alcohol all contribute to the risks of driving.

You can find the new Danger Zones in the App Store now, and it ‘s free of course.

*** Disclosure: This app is the first app from AppDudes, a company run by a very good friend of mine.  I have no financial interest in the app or the company “ but I do consider the guy who runs the company one of the brightest people I ‘ve ever met and someone I admire and respect a lot.
