OT: Happy Birthday Firefox

Five years ago, an open-source browser called Firefox ”one that didn’t ship with your computer ”was available as a 1.0 download. To say it’s changed the world’s web experience is understatement.

I ‘ve been a Firefox user and huge fan of this browser since pretty much the 1.0 days “ whether using a Windows machine (or a Linux boot on one) or a Mac, this app has been a constant friend and favorite.

Ironically, the last few days it has been playing up for me on my MacBook Pro (taking its resource hoggishness to crazy, silly levels) “ but I ‘ve had occasional troubles with it before and always worked through them and have never switched away from Firefox as my preferred, default, and constantly used browser.

Here ‘s hoping for many more happy birthdays for Firefox, and for seeing it pass IE in browser share someday as well.
