Apple Improves Printing, Scanning Quicktime and iSight Cameras via a Series of Minor Updates

softwareupdate-iconjpg1112.jpegApple has been slowly trickling out updates over the past few days improving things such as printer and scanner drivers for Snow Leopard, iSight updates for LED Cinema Displays and Quicktime 7 for Windows.

The Lexmark printer driver released by Apple affects Macs running Snow Leopard and the scanner drivers are for Brother, Canon, and HP scanners and printers.

Apple also issued a firmware update for the iSight cameras built into the LED Cinema Display. This update addresses an issue where the built-in iSight camera isn’t recognized by certain applications.

Lastly, Apple has released an update for the Windows version of Quicktime 7. This update, 7.6.5, fixes issues were Quicktime wasn’t regularly loading libraries used at launch, and the incorrect display of Quicktime which are embedded in a webpage with custom attributes.
