Quick video comparison of jailbreak iPhone Exposé apps: Orbit 1.1.4 and Overboard 1.0

I might be risking being caught for indecent Exposuré here, but I thought I’d put a little video up quickly comparing the two. It’s not a grand conclusion (heck, vid’s only a minute long), but at least it puts the animations side by side so the two apps are a little easier to compare.

As one last note: Orbit is supposed to dynamically resize and allow for a two-column layout as well, but I have never gotten that to work and I’m not even sure how to get it going. If you know how, please share in the comments.

Can you still swipe through if you want? Personally, if its a screen away I swipe, if its more I Spotlight launch it.

    Hey John,

yeah, you can still swipe through like normal. :D

Do either of these work with PogoPlank?

Right now, they'd have no purpose with PogoPlank turned on, as it supports only one home screen. That will change with Version 2.0 and the developer is keen to make ti work very well with Orbit and other similar apps.

OK, thx for confirming. It's taking me a long time to setup PogoPlank so I thought this might help make it easier to start those apps I haven't added to PogoPlank yet. I can't for the life of me understand why PogoPlank doesn't throw all of your apps into a 'Misc' folder as a starting point.

Yes – that would be very helpful. I might even vote for 'Unassigned' as the folder name – as I use a 'Misc' folder already for apps I can't quite pigeonhole yet – so Unassigned would indicate to me that I hadn't even got that far with the apps contained in it.
