Turns Out Psystar Has Only Sold 768 Mac Clones, Had Promised to Ship 12 Million

logo1.pngTUAW is reporting on a series of documents leaked form the Ongoing Apple vs. Psystar case. These documents have primarily given us something else to laugh at regarding Psystar, especially their prediction numbers.

Psystar had planned to ship 1.45 million Mac clones by 2011. They have currently sold 768. The 1.45 million was their “conservative” estimates too, because the company planed to sell 12 million clones by the end of 2012. Read that again, I’ll wait.

I think it’s needless to say, these clowns are done for. What really shows the company’s mismanagement is the fact that they think this legal battle with Apple is actually helping them, by scaring off any potential Mac clone competition, because they would want to “avoid the mess.”
