Leave It to the App Store to Kick-start Your Christmas Spirit

12 farts of Christmas iPhone app

I was going to try to hold off a few more days on any holiday / seasonal related posts “ but a couple of App Store gems caught my attention this morning and I couldn ‘t resist any longer.  These two seem ideal for welcoming in the season in that unmistakable App Store style.  They are:

12 Farts of Christmas and Trigger Happy Christmas

The first one of course is from that genre that gives (App Store) love a bad name.  The second though has a lot to offer if you ‘re in the mood for a bit of dark humor and mayhem to kick off the season.  I discovered this one via KRAPPS this morning and it definitely offers a unique approach to the iPhone Christmas app spirit:

LMAO just in time for the Holidays, Santa goes on a killing spree. Seems Santa ‘s helpers went psycho (or still pissed about the Elf Bowling game Santa created) and hijacked his sleigh spilling Christmas Day presents all over the place. To make matters worse, these little bastards are trying to steal the gifts once they hit the ground. But Santa is a bad mofo he ‘s got weapons shot guns, flamethrowers, grenade launchers all sorts of shit that blow those wicked elves to smithereens. Warning small children may experience nightmares from playing Trigger Happy Christmas if you suck, Santa will die!

Give the whole article a look if you have a chance “ although I ‘m sure we ‘ll be overrun with holiday apps this month, I don ‘t think you ‘ll see too many more quite like this one:

The 12 Farts of Christmas is a different twist on the Fart app! Great original artwork in this app which you can order from their store.

I checked out both apps. Trigger Happy Christmas was a little too intense for my kids. But they really like 12 Farts of Christmas. And so did my friends. I and my kids liked the pictures that came up on 12 Farts.
