US Postal Service Brings Out an iPhone App in Time for the Holidays
USPS Mobile is a new “ official “ iPhone app from the United States Postal Service, or The Post Office as I tend to think of them.
The app offers access to the most popular tools on the USPS.com web site:
- Track a package
- Find Post Offices and collection boxes
- Look up zip codes
Good timing on the release of this app I imagine “ as this seems like a very handy one for all those organized souls (like my mom used to be) who have got all their shopping done and are busily sending out their cards and gifts now.
I ‘m a bit more of a December 23rd ‘oh crap let ‘s go to the mall with my brother ‘ kinda guy “ so I ‘ll be looking out for an app for that

Don’t they usually wait until you’ve received something to update the tracking info? I’ve never seen useful tracking data from USPS.
