An iPhone App to Track How Badly AT&T Sucks – from AT&T

Somebody call the Verizon advertising folks “ let ‘em know they may want to work this little gem into their next ad. It ‘s an app from AT&T “ called AT&T Mark The Spot “ that has these key features:

Ah yes “ it helps you track and record failed calls, poor voice quality, dropped calls, data failures, and of course ‘no coverage ‘ “ is there a map for that? If so, this app may even have been coded by the same team that does the Verizon ads.
Hell, this could even work well for an iPhone ad. ‘Love the iPhone but hate AT&T and want to compile all the evidence on how many ways the service sucks “ there ‘s an app for that ‘.
I suppose this a bit of no-win for AT&T “ it ‘s a nice gesture to offer some assistance here, but really “ ouch ![]()
I spotted this app via a post at Wayne Schulz ‘s excellent site “ HERE.

Looks like they pulled it from the store.
LOL – wonder if it was pulled for duplicating functionality, of the Verizon ads
I was able to get it this morning, so AT&T hasn't pulled it. I figure if AT&T is willing to give me the (painless) opportunity to report all the times I have issues with their network, I'm taking it!
Oh, good stuff.
Yeah, it's really dumb to try to improve your service by asking your customers to tell you when something is not working. Better to just stick your head in the sand and pretend everything is fine.
Normally I'd agree with that sentiment, and still do to some extent – but jeez, the timing here is just very sad. Also, it appears they stuck their head back in the sand and pulled it from the App Store pretty quick
Leave it up AT&T, at least it looks like you care about your customers and listen to their problems with the network.
the dumbass who wrote this blog is obviously mad that his carrier verizon doesn't have the iphone. Just some common sense for you folks that dig the Verizon marketing adds why do you think they directly market against att??? could it be just for fun?? probably not. It 's cuz att is wooping their asses.
Yes – you caught me – I've been writing an iPhone blog for 2.5 years because I'm on Verizon and I'm unable to use an iPhone. Very astute there.
