Developer Gets Ripped From iTunes Store For Ratings Fraud

image iPhone App Developer Molinker had lots of photography-related apps published in the App Store.   Unfortunately, they also had tons of fake reviews as well.   Now, that ‘ratings-pumping ‘ tactic has backfired badly, as they (and their apps) have been removed from the App Store.   How was this fraud uncovered?  By a sharp-eyed iPhone user and a web site catering to iPhone photography.    Click here to read the details at iPhoneography.com.

    So that's what, 1,000 banned "apps"? what's left are 99,000 fart apps, that were so so closely scrutinized. Are we really sure that those 99,000 fart apps make fart sounds, maybe 40,000 make burp sounds?
