Animoto Videos has been a favorite of mine on the iPhone for a long time.  It ‘s a great free app that creates very slick slide shows from your iPhone photos, sets them to music of your choice, and lets you share them with family and friends.  It does all of this with just a few taps and in just a few minutes.

I ‘ve written about Animoto here before “ but it ‘s worth another mention at this time of year, as it is such a great way to quickly an easily share happy holiday moments.

This past weekend my wife, daughter, and I went to see a performance of The Nutcracker (while Texas was playing UNC at basketball!) with my wife ‘s parents. Later on we opened gifts with them because we won ‘t get to spend Christmas day with them.  Today I spent 5 minutes doing a ‘Nutcracker 09 ‘ show on Animoto, complete with The Nutcracker March as the soundtrack, fired it off to the in-laws and showed it to my wife and little girl at home.  Tidings of comfort and joy all round.
