From your review I've read that Gmail Push has some very nice features that PushGmail doesn't have. The quiet hours (I think any / all push apps need to have quiet hours settings) and customizable alert sounds.

Another problem I've noticed with these push gmail programs is some of them don't decode the message text nicely, instead you get an alert that reads

and it never gets to the actual email.

For me having the first line of text would be a very nice thing to have. Also having landscape would be a great addition, although I'm very used to portrait typing, sometimes those long emails can go a little quicker with landscape.

  8. JJ White says:

I currently use IM+ to give me new gmail push notifications and it works well…will love to see what this app has to offer. Custom sound notifications on the push would be nice…based on contacts.

    in for one

    Push gmail and quiet hours!

  11. Dan says:

I think landscape is a must in all iPhone apps especially mail apps. The quiet hours setting is very impressive and I'm anxious to try that out. Ideally I'd like to see a feature where you can choose certain senders or emails with keywords in the subject so you can have important emails pushed and other stuff like spam would not set off an alert.

  12. Fares hamed says:

I use the offical mail app on my device
