If you enjoy the numerous FAIL memes that are continually seen round the web, then you ‘ll enjoy the new Daily Fail iPhone app.

I ‘m still a sucker for a lot of these (and even LOLcat) images, and enjoy seeing them at Friendfeed and other social sites.  This new app provides a nice library of some classic FAIL images, with new ones added daily.

The app has few features right now.  It lets you add a picture to favorites, comment on images (you have to submit a username to do so, but no further details are asked for), and read comments others have made.

The UI is also very basic.  You have to tap the ‘New Fail ‘ button to move on to a new image; it would be nicer to have a screen swipe or tap action for this.

The app also does not appear to be associated with any of the web sites that have been serving up this content for quite a while “ so I wonder whether it is ‘legit ‘ in terms of proper licensing and usage of the images in it.  If not, it may have quite a short life expectancy.

For now, Daily Fail is available in the App Store, and it ‘s a free app.
