Wanted: This Android Feature on iPhone

Nexus One Battery

There’s a built-in app that tells you how much of the battery is being used by which apps and features. This is invaluable.

That ‘s a little slice from a Google employee ‘s description of his new Nexus One.  I ‘ve been told this is a feature of the latest Android release and my friend Wayne Schulz “ of the excellent wayneschulz.com site -  was kind enough to provide a screenshot of the app in action.

How cool is that?  Very cool indeed in my book.  I would love to see this feature make it into an iPhone OS update.  Even though in the screencap the main battery drainer is just ‘cell standby ‘ I just love the idea of seeing any information at all on which apps / features are chewing up the most battery.

I spotted this via a post at everythingiCafe

There's got to be something like this on Cydia. It's just ps with a pretty UI right?

Personally I'd take a notifications pane over any other Android feature for iPhone.
