Fingerworks.com Content Disappears, Apple Tablet Announcement Seems Imminent

Several Apple news outlets have circulated the story that Fingerworks.com has removed all of it’s content from the web. This is news worthy because Apple had purchased Fingerworks about five years ago, but left the photos of Fingerworks’ multi-touch keyboards and devices online. The timing and sudden removal of this content suggests that the tablet’s announcement is closing in.

It should go without saying that Fingerworks’ technologies are currently used by Apple in their iPhone, iPod touch, and Magic Mouse products, and will presumably be used in the tablet device that is expected to be introduced by Apple sometime this month.
