Psystar Files Injunction Appeal In Ongoing Legal Battle with Apple

logo1.pngThe Mac Observer is reporting that Psystar, the company responsible for making Mac clones, has filed an appeal to the injunction awarded to Apple that prevents Psystar from selling computers modified to run Mac OS X.

Psystar has officially filed its Notice of Appeal in the copyright suit it lost against Apple Inc., according to a court document obtained by The Mac Observer. The step was a formality in the appeals process, but until it was filed, it was unclear if the company would actually mount an appeal.

Psystar continues to sell t-shirts and is accepting donations to help with it’s ongoing legal fight. That said, Psystar stopped selling computers last month to comply with the injunction that said they must cease operation by December 31st.
