Hi John – thank you – and yes, it is huge fun being able to impress my daughter. Any time that happens, it's a great time – as there are plenty of other 6 year old eye rolling, dad you're a silly idiot moments round our house 🙂
As for our team of writers and contributors here, I think we have a superb group. I know I enjoy the hell out of reading all the great stuff my colleagues here post, and I learn things just about every day through their contributions.

I'll definitely be getting an iPad. I think the backlash is just coming from the hardcore geeks. I think they were expecting something way over the top with all the bells and whistles. I think Apple did it right, start with one that has 80% of the features of their other products, but does it cheaply and performs well. It looks like they accomplished that.
