Big mistake on their part. Hopefully Apple’s next big launch will be a real full functioning tablet computer called a Macbook Touch. JMO

In Canada, ‘iPhone’ was used by an alternative phone company to Bell for years before Apple even considered making an ‘iPhone’.

The iPad name issue is just another one to add to the list of times Apple just didn’t care. With the rumors of Apple’s lack of ownership of ‘multitouch’ (Apple, Nexxus One, MultiTouch search on Google will give you more info on that), it seems like Apple believes rules don’t apply to them.
