I love a good App Store Craziness story as much as the next guy “ but I always feel bad for iPhone developers each time we see another tale of loony rejections, absurd inconsistencies, and lack of communication from Apple.
So I ‘m very happy to hear that Apple is making an effort to get developers ‘ views on things, as reported at TechCrunch today:
The company has started sending out a survey to iPhone developers asking about their experience with the program. While the long survey covers a range of things, the majority of the questions are about the application review process, and developers ‘ overall happiness with the program.
I ‘m sure there are many App Store issues for which there are no quick fixes, but stepping up communication with devs seems a very fine first step to me. Here ‘s hoping they get good response, and take on board at least some of what they learn.
If you ‘re an iPhone dev, we ‘d love to hear what you think of this initiative and what are some of the key things you ‘ll be sharing with Apple.
