SlowMo iPhone app

Slowmo is an iPhone app (specifically for the iPhone 3GS) that lets you transform your existing iPhone videos into slow or fast motion, or create new slow or fast motion videos.

So the app has a fairly basic purpose and is very basic in its look and all the way around “ but it does what it says on the box and does it quite well.

Here ‘s a little more detail on the app from its App Store description:

Time warp your iPhone 3GS video.
Create both slow motion and fast motion videos with your iPhone 3GS. No video quality degradation no matter how many times you adjust speed.

1. Select desired speed using the slider
2. Pick a clip from Camera Roll or record a video
3. Video is processed to slow/fast motion
4. Play, email or
5. Save to Camera Roll (OS 3.1 needed)

Sound track can either:

- Stretch/shrink to produce funny low/high pitch or
- Loop/trim for normal pitch

It couldn ‘t be much simpler to use.  I ‘ve been playing with the app a bit over the last few days and it ‘s good fun.  Its extreme ease of use and fast results produce some funny stuff with a minimum of effort.

I think it ‘s quite a nice little app, priced well and one that ‘s worth keeping around.

You can find Slowmo in the App Store now, priced at $0.99.

  2. PTR says:

Slowmo offers no video degradation, but, in iPhone 4 it really affects bad the quality of video, it´s a great idea but need urgent un update to support 720p from iPhone, iPod 4G …

  3. Drill says:

Does this app support iPad as well.
