I use iFile and the built in server though that is not as drag and drop easy.

It’s possible to use SSH via USB (with a jailbroken device), which is definitely much faster than SSH via wifi.

The easiest way is to use the tcprelay.py script (from the iphonelinux project) on either OS X or Linux. The following post provides more information:
