Pastebot is my favourite clipboard manager on the iPhone, and it also syncs quite handily with my Mac via the free Pastebot Sync preference pane. As of version 1.1, you can now group your Pastebot clippings, essentially creating stacks of clippings. There is now also an interesting option to un-group clippings, which is great for pictures that were copied to the iPhone en masse, but are more convenient to access as individual clippings.
The option to auto-detect links within text has also been added and you can now decide which folder you’ll load on startup. The final notable change is a new filter: text translation. I wrote “I believe that iPhones are amazing” which came out as “Ich Glaube, dass iPhones sind erstaunlich.” The verb is out of place, but the meaning came across. Good update, Tapbots.
All I’d like now is the option to skip straight to the camera roll when you press the “+” button to add a new clipping. I almost never take pictures or create text from within Pastebot, and most of the time all I want to do is add a new picture from the camera roll.
