Ahh that makes more sense. On OS X colons can’t be represented in a file path, and so they are replaced. So it’s a problem mapping to the file system. Still odd maybe, but at least not a bug in the general sync system.

Actually I should clear that up a bit: all the colons in my note titles turned to dashes as described. The other colons in body text were preserved. This happened to about 10-12 notes , all of them starting with “journal:”
